GIOMANÈ, the fifth studio release from GIANFRANCO GFN, is a confident and deeply personal statement that captures the essence of his self-defined “GIAZZ!” universe. Released on June 6, 2025, the 13-track album is the result of two years of dedicated work that began with the single “Sing The Song” in late 2022. Rooted at the crossroads of groove, soul, and acid jazz, the record blends soul, pop, funk, and blues into a sound that feels both timeless and distinctive. Every song tells a story drawn from moments of life, love, doubt, and adventure, reflecting GFN’s belief that groove is not just a musical style but a way of living and experiencing the world.

What truly distinguishes GIOMANÈ is its commitment to an organic and human-centered production. Each track began simply with GFN’s guitar and a click track before gradually expanding to include drums, bass, keyboards, rich backing vocals, and vibrant horn arrangements. Recording sessions took place in Switzerland at Le Bocal Studio in Boudry, with the brass section recorded in Côte d’Ivoire under the direction of saxophonist and arranger JB-Moundele, before being mixed and mastered in Italy.

Crafted with 15 musicians from diverse backgrounds, the album thrives on real interaction between players, resulting in a warm, dynamic sound free from artificial gloss.
