Ja Rule is pointing fingers at longtime rival 50 Cent after the New York Knicks suffered a disappointing home loss to the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Playoffs.
The Knicks fell 100-94, and Ja Rule took to social media to blame what he sees as bad energy in the building — courtesy of 50 Cent.
“Man I knew my Knicks was gonna lose as soon as I seen that black cat (rat) in the building…,” Ja wrote in a post on X, clearly referencing 50.
While 50 Cent has yet to respond to the jab, the tension between the two rappers has escalated in recent weeks, especially following the death of Murder Inc. co-founder Irv Gotti. In a controversial Instagram post, 50 appeared to mock the loss by sharing a photo of himself next to a fake gravestone while smoking a cigar.
Ja Rule later addressed the post during an appearance on The Breakfast Club, admitting it nearly pushed him over the edge. “I was hot, I was ready to go nuclear and shit,” he said.
True to his word, Ja went on the offensive again via social media, accusing 50 of being a snitch and taunting him with harsh words:
“@50cent SUCK MY DICK you bitch ass n-gga… I already ate your lunch shut up!!! Until you do something to the n-ggas that shot you you can’t troll no more… [laughing emoji] handle your business chump lmao…”
The bitter feud between the two rap veterans — one of the longest-running in hip-hop — shows no sign of cooling off, especially with playoff bragging rights now in the mix.
