DJchookylightningfrog injects an unapologetic amount of energy into his original single “Footspring”, showing a bold attitude towards electronic music. Instead of sticking to one genre, the DJ from Perth pursues creative freedom and is willing to experiment with various sounds. This independent mindset is what gives the release its distinct character, based on individuality, experimentation and a wish to make an impression.
The track combines the wild spirit of rock with the strong beat of big-room techno, using these contrasting musical influences to define its character. Instead of sticking to a usual pattern, “Footspring” is based on a method that involves breaking new ground and adopting a daring creative approach. By embracing this rocktechno style, it fits into an electronic genre in which intensity and attitude are key elements of the listening experience.
Apart from the effects of its genre influences, the song ‘Footspring’ shows the energy of an artist who displays a strong sense of personality when it comes to creating original music and doing DJing. DJchookylightningfrog writes, produces and performs his own material, adopting a self-directed method in the course of his creativity. This independence is in keeping with the track’s huge and dramatic identity, indicating an artist who is determined to seek out new possibilities rather than sticking to what is already familiar.
“Footspring” represents yet another stage in DJchookylightningfrog’s ongoing journey in the fields of music production and performance. The desire to present this kind of music to international audiences gives the release an extra dimension, although organising a world tour remains a long-term aim. For those listeners who are attracted by electronic music that pushes boundaries and has rock influences, this single provides a look at an artist who is dedicated to individuality, continuous evolution and a firm creative vision.
