N.O.R.E. is speaking out about a disturbing encounter at a Miami restaurant, where he claims a staff member weaponized the police against him over a minor disagreement.
Taking to Instagram, the Drink Champs host detailed the incident, which took place at his regular spot, Houston’s in North Miami Beach.
“This woman tried to get me killed for ordering an extra bottle of wine,” he wrote. “Whenever a white woman calls the police on a Black man, their intention is to get a Black man killed. I was cool, calm, and collected when the police arrived. The officer even said he’s never been called for something like that — but I paid my check and left.”
N.O.R.E. added that he later did some digging and found multiple reviews accusing the same employee of discriminatory behavior, not just toward Black patrons, but also toward Latinos, Russians, and Jews. “She’s not just racist to Black people,” he continued. “She’s racist to anybody who’s not pure-bred white. As I walked out, she turned away three more Black men. Let’s boycott! Shame on you!”
He also posted a video recounting the situation, saying he was given “the full Karen treatment like a mutha,” and included screenshots of online reviews that echoed his experience.
On a brighter note, the Queens legend has been turning heads lately with his health transformation. Back in March, he shared before-and-after pics on Instagram showcasing his impressive weight loss.
“How do you say Benjamin Button without saying Benjamin Button?! Ha!” he joked. “Clone back 2025 with the YN twists! Looking younger than I did in ‘L.A., L.A.’!”
N.O.R.E.’s glow-up hasn’t gone unnoticed. After years of rocking a bald head, he debuted a fresh Caesar cut, prompting his close friend Fat Joe to give it a thorough inspection on video. “It’s real!” Joe laughed, brushing the newly grown hair.
Joking about Turkey hair transplants, N.O.R.E. wrote in the caption: “U know it’s bad when ya best friend don’t believe you and thinks you went to Turkey. This my real shit!”
He later gave credit to Rewind It 10 — the hair color brand also endorsed by Fat Joe and DJ Khaled — for helping him reclaim a more youthful look.
