Swizz Beatz is stepping into the world of luxury jewelry with the debut of his new collection, ARA x MR DEAN, created in collaboration with renowned Brazilian jeweler Ara Vartanian.

The line features an eclectic mix of brooches, cufflinks, necklaces, chain bracelets, and two-finger rings, and is designed with everyday wear in mind rather than just formal occasions. Drawing from Swizz’s personal tastes, the collection incorporates vibrant rubellites and emeralds and is described as “an exploration of structure, boldness, and shared creative language.”

Initially launching as a men’s collection, ARA x MR DEAN will eventually expand to include gender-neutral pieces. “Swizz has a very strong creative presence,” Vartanian told Something About Rocks. “From the beginning, he was fully involved — contributing ideas, references and artistic sensitivity. He listens deeply and proposes clearly. The collaboration was fluid and intense.”

The collection will be available online beginning Thursday (May 8), with limited-edition releases rolling out at Ara Vartanian’s flagship store and select retailers later in the month.

In other Swizz Beatz news, fans are still buzzing over the teased return of Verzuz, the hit music battle series he co-created with Timbaland. After partnering with Elon Musk’s platform X last summer, the duo shared that they’re building new entertainment ventures to expand the brand’s reach globally.

“We’re excited to help X build the biggest entertainment company in the world,” Swizz said in a statement, while Timbaland called it “the most innovative platform globally.”

Despite the excitement, the partnership drew criticism from fans who felt the move was a “sellout,” with some suggesting they should’ve gone with a different platform.
