With The Whispering – Part 1, Los Angeles-based metal outfit The Whispering makes an emphatic first statement. Serving as a preview of the band’s upcoming self-titled album, this four-track EP introduces a sound rooted in classic heavy metal traditions while embracing modern production and cinematic atmosphere. From the eerie opening whispers of the title track, listeners are transported into a dark, mythic world where towering riffs, thunderous rhythms, and rebellious energy dominate the landscape.

At the center of the project is Lucian Fhor, whose commanding vocal performance and guitar work provide both the emotional and musical foundation of the record. Fhor approaches the material with conviction, delivering lyrics that confront injustice, hypocrisy, and social complacency without sacrificing the raw excitement that defines great metal. His vision is strengthened by an impressive supporting cast, including bassist Loic Colin and drumming heavyweights Tobias Kellgren and Dirk Verbeuren.
