Wale has officially wrapped up his annual WaleMania concert, bringing the WrestleMania weekend tradition to a close as it hits its 10-year milestone.

Ahead of this year’s event, which is being presented by Netflix, the DMV rapper made the announcement on X.

“I hope everybody has a great time tonight. This will be the final WaleMania,” he wrote. “Ten years, lots of memories… thank you to everyone who showed up and showed out…”

Responding to messages of congratulations, Wale added, “Labor of love, my brother… helluva run,” and, “Anybody who’s been paying attention knew this was inevitable. This is the last hurrah.”

In a 2022 interview, Wale expressed his passion for the event: “WaleMania has always been a passion of mine because it combines all of my loves into one place during a weekend that I always have the most fun. I love doing this for fans of myself, my music, and professional wrestling because at the end of the day, I’m one of you too. I love that WaleMania has become the unofficial ‘welcome to the big weekend’ party.”

In other news, Wale recently credited J. Cole for helping him get past a bad case of writer’s block.

He posted on X: “Music friends… how do y’all cure writer’s block? Over the years, I’ve had different methods. Curious what y’all do.”

The former MMG artist then shared, “I done talked to Cole ‘bout the block a rack of times… one time we tried teaching me how to meditate. It worked a lil’. We made ‘My Boy’ right after,” referring to their 2018 collaboration.

Though the pair have had a complicated relationship, they reunited last year at the 40th birthday celebration for their mutual manager, Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad.
